Your Rights and Responsibilities as a Spa Guest
Each Spa around the world offers a unique experience, yet we are all devoted to enhancing overall well-being through a variety of professional services that encourage the renewal of mind, body and spirit. To enjoy your spa experience to the fullest, observe the Code of Conduct, act responsibly, and be aware that common sense and personal awareness can help ensure your satisfaction, comfort and safety, as well as that of others.

As a Spa Guest, it is your responsibility to:

1. Communicate your preferences, expectations and concerns;
2. Communicate complete and accurate health information and reasons for your visit;
3. Treat staff and other guests with courtesy and respect;
4. Use products, equipment and therapies as directed;
5. Engage in efforts to preserve the environment; and
6. Adhere to the spa’s published policies and procedures.
   

As a Spa Guest, you have the right to:

1. A clean, safe and comfortable environment;
2. Stop a treatment at any time, for any reason;
3. Be treated with consideration, dignity and respect;
4. Confidential treatment of your disclosed health information;
5. Trained staff who respectfully conduct treatments according to treatment protocols and the spa’s policies and procedures;
6. Ask questions about your spa experience; and
7. Information regarding staff training, licensing and certification

Spa Arrival
Please arrive thirty minutes prior to the scheduled treatment time in order to change and make use of the facility. The locker areas have steam, sauna and whirlpools for your enjoyment, complimentary with your treatment. The more relaxed you are, the more you will benefit and enjoy your service.

Running Late
Arriving late for your service will limit the time of your salon or Spa service, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end at the scheduled time to accommodate the next guest’s scheduled appointment.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

Minimum Age
The Spa and all of its facilities are appropriate for guests 16 years and older.

Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy to all, we ask that a 24 hour notice be given if you need to cancel or change your appointment with us. With less than the 24 hour notification, guests will be charged 50% of the treatment fee. Without any notification, the full treatment fee will be charged.

What to Wear
Robes, slippers and private lockers are provided for your use when receiving a treatment. A bathing suit is optional while you enjoy the steam, sauna or whirlpools. We do recommend that you leave jewelry or other valuables at home or in your guest room.

Where to Find Us
The Spa at Laguna Cliffs is ideally situated in Dana Point, California, midway between Los Angeles and San Diego. The Spa is part of the Laguna Cliffs Resort & Spa, within walking distance of Dana Point Harbor, shops, restaurants and the Ocean Institute.
If you are staying with us in the hotel, we are on the first floor on the left side of the main driveway, next to the Fitness center. Ext. 4422

Charges
For those with a reserved spa treatment, there are no additional charges added for facility or resort  use (no resort access during holiday weekends). There is a $65 entrance fee for a non-hotel guest who does not have a spa reservation to enjoy the spa facilities and a $95 fee for those that wish to enjoy the resort and spa facilities (not applicable during holiday weekends).
For the convenience of our guests you will find a 20% service charge added to all Spa services, any additional gratuities are at the discretion of the guest in appreciation of outstanding service.
